The Vacation Exchange scheme is for the use of members of Anglican Communion Member Churches.
Neither the Anglican Communion Office nor the Anglican Consultative Council nor their staff members will be held responsible for the outcome of contact between Vacation Exchange registered members or of a vacation swap between members.
By registering for Vacation Exchange you agree to your details being made available to other members of the Vacation Exchange and staff of the Anglican Communion Office.
The information on your registration form will only be used by the Anglican Communion Office for the purposes of maintaining the Vacation Exchange scheme. We will not pass your details to a third party.
It is the responsibility of the Vacation Exchange member to check the authenticity of the information provided by members who contact them requesting a swap.
Anyone who abuses the service offered by Vacation Exchange will have their account deleted. Any complaint by one registered user about another will be investigated and appropriate action taken.
Members of the Vacation Exchange scheme should never charge other members for the use of their homes. This is a free service.
Appropriate steps should be taken by members to ensure the incoming clergy or lay member have the proper permission to preach in the Member Church they are visiting.
You recognise that while the Anglican Communion Office is unlikely to contact your referee, its staff members may do so to confirm that you are a church worker or priest. NB: In time, Vacation Exchange may be opened up to non-church workers and priests.
